Review: Multi Strand Wire ppl complain about. - for the ppl that complain about multi Strand Wire being an issue. just solder those wire ends and you won't have any issues. it's pretty straight forward stuff. that will fix your issues. these are great. the clip style ones work better for multi Strand but these have way more grip.

**Q: anyone used these on a trailor**
A: Read the package or visit the manufacturer's web site to see the ratings for this and other connectors.  
As I read it, it's for solid copper wires from 18 to 12 AWG, and stranded copper wires from 16 to 14 AWG.  
This is not rated for 'braided  wire'.  But it is rated for stranded wire, which is commonly used in automotive applications.  
Note that UL listings which govern US house wiring may be different from the European ratings.  Wago is 
a German company, and these are used around the world.

**Q: Can you use a four wire connector for connecting only two or three wires?**
A: Sure. That leaves one or two holes available for future expansion. But a 4-connector will take up more room in your terminal box than a 2-connector, so in that case, a 2-connector for just the 2 wires might be better. (Unless I know for absolute certain I won't be expanding the circuit, I always try to have one extra hole available because it's tougher to remove wires from these than from twist connectors.

**Q: I can not get a stranded wire to connect. I push in but it does not connect. What am I doing wrong?**
A: For stranded wire connections, try tinning the stripped wire end with solder first before pushing into the connector.  If you only have a few stranded wires, this can still be an efficient way to make your connections.

**Q: This works with 14/2 wire correct**
A: yes and 12/2 as well

for the ppl that complain about multi Strand Wire being an issue. just solder those wire ends and you won't have any issues. it's pretty straight forward stuff. that will fix your issues. these are great. the clip style ones work better for multi Strand but these have way more grip.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Simple to use and saves time.

I can't adequately describe how much I love these WAGO nuts. With the old style twist on nuts it seemed you were always concerned that one of the wires might not be in tight. But with the WAGO nuts you press eact wire in and can see that it's in good. They are also a lifesaver when dealing with old work in a cramped box. So much easier to press a short wire in with needle nose pliars than havecto bundle them together and twist on a nut while hoping nothing is loose. Extra nice being able to remove a single wire without having to disturb the rest. The testing port is nice as well - no worry about whether or not your probe made it past the press of insulation and found the copper with these bad boys. The only downside is that you are limited to 4 wires per nut. Ihave a handful of 5 and 6 wire WAGO nuts for those rare occasions that I bought in 10 packs but since almost everything that needs splicing is 3 or 4 wires, these get it done. Really no different than having to have a few red or green oldstyle nuts in your belt for the few times a yellow wasnt big enough. I've never used these with anything but solid wire but I trust WAGO if they say it works with stranded.
