Buying paint on t'interweb - good idea or bad?

Is this water based paint

Yes - carries the instruction to wash brushes etc. in clean water.

Would I need a mask art undercoat with this?

Hi I. Not sure what mask art is, but iv never used and uncoat with this paint.

Would this paint work on red doorstep tiles?

Hi. As with any tiles, a tile paint (or tile primer paint) would be needed as to bond with the gloss surface (if it is gloss). This paint I have used myself on a brick wall.
