I have profiles saved for my audio DAW software, Adobe Premiere Pro etc. etc. I have the mouse switched to eco mode. I'm not at all interested in the lights but I can see how many will love them (and they do look good!) but I'm more interested in extending the battery life. The mouse is useable as it charges on the supplied USB C lead anyway, so it's not too much of an issue. The only little niggle, and it's hardly worth mentioning to be fair, is that the light on the scroll wheel pulses on and off constantly to show you the remaining battery power. In use I hardly notice it but I did hunt for a way to make it 'steady' or turn it off. Apears that you can't but as said, it's a minor point. All in all a great buy. Review: Great mouse - I have always liked Redragon's stuff. This mouse feels really good to hold. It is a large mouse and easy to use. The buttons on the side are in a good spot, easy to reach. It feels responsive. It has a dongle you plug in for low latency. It is quite a heavy mouse, but I quite like that. It feels sturdy and made out of decent material. The left and right clicks have a slight rubber texture that feels amazing. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great mouse let down by the software *by M***K on 29 October 2024* I really do like this mouse. I bought it because I have large hands and the shape really fits my grip. The thumb rest is a great addition and adds a lot to the feel of the mouse. It has been reliable and the quoted battery life is accurate. The microswitched buttons have a good feel to them, the activation has a nice posistive click, the sound of the click has changed slightly on the most common used buttons but this is probably normal. The weight of the mouse might be a little heavy for some with it being wireless, but I dont mind that with it being an MMO mouse, it does slide well on neoprene mats (remember to take the plastic off the bottom). The mouse scroll wheel has no left or right switches which is pretty much standard these days on other mice, not a deal breaker, but would have been nice to have. Now for the let down, the software, specifically profiles, there is a profile switch on the bottom that can switch between 2 profiles. There is no real way to tell what profile you are currently in, but what I did was set the RGB colour of the mouse to allow me to know which profile I am using. Profiles can be used but they have to be loaded into the software from a local file, if profile switching was built into the software this would be the perfect mouser for me. I does not have built in memory to store profiles, which I can understand, but the lack of quick profile switching in the software is very disapointing to say the least. I just don't think it would take much to add this and also a notification in the software to show what profile is active. I check the Redragon software page every now and again to see if it has been updated from version 1.0, but it has been stuck on this version since my purchase in Jan 24. Come on Redragon release an updated utility for the mouse with quick switching profiles.
