Great for what I was looking for, I can’t use it on the battery cause the sensors would trigger my Hellcat. So I have a remote to disable the kill switch and the ignition. Was easy to install, solid connections, Mopar compatibility and reliable. Life is Easy now! Cheers

Disconnecting battery might cause problems for fuel trim and other computer related settings. I placed the solenoid ( a real old school mechanical contact) between the fuse marked “START” in the fuse box. In the off state it draws no power. In the on state it draws about 1/4 amp. No problem when the car is running. I just need to make sure if stored for long periods to turn off the relay. Works perfectly and highly recommended. Solid state relays do not work in my application because of a 0.7 voltage drop in the closed position that makes it look open to the computer.

I installed this on my 2014 ultra with a lithium battery, and on my wife’s Softail Deluxe with a led battery and it worked great for about two days. My bike has factory security, but the Softail does not, so we really liked the ability to kill the power to the starter. The bikes sat for about two days, and it was time to load them into the trailer to go home. My bike would not start, the battery was completely dead, 3.4 volts. We were able to fine some neighbors to help push my bike into the trailer. I then tried to start the Softail, same thing, the battery was dead, 5.2 volts. I was able to recover my lithium battery, but I had to replace the led battery. I have no idea what happened. Either this cut off stopped the battery from charging when we rode them, or there was a drain when they sat. Some may say I installed them wrong, but I had a mechanic check them and confirmed I installed them per the instructions. Bottom line, I pulled both cut offs, a new battery for the Softail and they are both running fine. I am just thankful that this did not happen in the middle of a long ride.

When it worked it worked perfectly but it burned out within 3 weeks. I used id to cut power to the starter so it really didn’t put too much strain to it but it still died. Now it won’t click on update.. I actually blew a fuse because of the electric fans. After diagnosing I found it was still working. Changing to 5 stars

Easy install, does exactly what it’s meant to do!

Remove the key ignition switch on my boat to just a push button start. Needed A way to protect the boat. If I pull to a restaurant on the water this was a great Add on and does the job perfect.
