Review: Good pens, good range of sizes - I use these pens for general drawing and for my planner, as the finest pen in this set is ideal for fitting more text into a small area of paper than you can with such as a biro. This is a decent range of sizes for my needs, the ink is jet black and permanent, I've never experienced bleeding from the ink and as a left handed person, there is minimal smudging. For better ink flow, I recommend storing these pens with the tips facing downwards. I feel it's not unreasonable to mention that although I did purchase this set from desertcart, I have since found them for a much, much lower price elsewhere, albeit individually, but they are the exact same pens. Shop around.

These are fine nibbed pens with lids and come in 6 different colours. The colours that I received are black red blue green brown and purple. They are also great for outline work and drawing zentangle images These are fine tipped which make them perfect for not only zentangle colouring and drawing but also for other projects where you use fine pens for intricate detailed work. I am very pleased with these and love the variety of colours that come in the pack.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Do these bleed through the very thin pages in a Bible?  I recently bought one that has space for journaling so I'll be writing on both sides of the pa**
A: They do not bleed through. It's faintly visible from the other side of the page, but not distracting. You can easily mark both sides of the page.

**Q: Are these very “inky” and wet like a gel pen? Or are they more like a ballpoint pen?**
A: They don't act like a gel pen nor a ballpoint pen. It's a unique pen and the ink comes out just swiftly but it doesn't come rushing out like a gel pen. It isn't as stiff as a ballpoint pen either, I'd say it's more in the middle.

**Q: Will these pens bleed when used with water color paints?**
A: If used on the proper paper they will not! You have to use them on watercolor paper or paper that is absorbent enough for the ink to attach, any smooth papers run the risk of smearing. I love to use these for my watercolors. May I recommend making sure you have more than the 005 size? You will need a few 005 as they have delicate  and very small tips and over time you will eventually press to hard, pushing the tip in. I'd recommend 05, 03, and 01 as well. Hope this helps. :)

**Q: How to pull tip fiber through when worn but still a new pen?**
A: If you are using the finer tips (i.e. 003, 005, 01) the nibs are very delicate and do not need much pressure to draw.  If the nib has retracted into the metal sleeve, likely, there has been too much downward pressure while drawing, and cannot be fixed.  

Note that the use of Micron pens on rough papers or surfaces will prematurely wear down the plastic nib. Also, if the writing angle is too great, the finer nibs will “bend” and then the ink channels in the nib will stop any ink flow.

AMAZING literally! I bought these pens after hearing that these pens rival pens with much larger price tags. So whilst for me (someone who has never bought artsy pens before) they seemed rather expensive.... for what they are they are well priced. And boy did they deliver! They dry super quickly - so no smudging and they don't show through thin paper that much. I use them in my journaling bible so that is a big plus! Also they don't dissolve in water so if you spill water on something you wrote using these pens they don't spread. so they are also able to be used along side water colours or water paints. over all huge thumbs up and well worth the money!!
