My only complaint is that the mattress moves away from where is should be. Leaving a ravine down one side of the bed near the wall. My pillow just falls down. I would've liked if the mattress retainer was a bit further in and speaking of. Because of where the retainer is. You can clip your shins on them and it can leave a nice dent/cut. Other than that it took me about an hour to fully build and was ready to sleep on it afterwards too. I have had it for a while now. There is minimal creaking (essentially none), it's strong and supports heavy people, the size is massive and I get a great night sleep with the extra room with my partner and baby who manage take the majority of the bed space but still leaving me with enough to rest.
