It takes a fair amount of heat to make it soft and malleable, yet it remains soft until it gets completely cold. I found that heating it with a heat gun, then shaping it however you need, and finally spraying it with a spray bottle of cold water works amazingly well. They really should change the directions to reflect this method as it works so much better. The final product it a very hard yet not at all brittle piece with amazing strength.
