Slight shine, not too heavy if I use less than they want on the box.
So, they say to use 3-5 drops but I found that to be too much for my skin. It felt a little greasy to me at 4 drops. So I backed it off to 1-2 and it was a lot lighter leaving a slight shine and absorbed into my skin. I use it once a day and don't really notice any plumping. But my skin feels softer and that is a good thing. Considering how expensive this is at the time of this review, I am glad 1-2 drops is enough for my skin. It's not a really big bottle holding only 1 fl oz. And I haven't seen enough change yet in regards minimizing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles even if other qualities advertised like the hydrating and glow are present. So I have to give it a four-star.

Amazing!
I have very dry and dull skin, especially in the winter. I added this into my skincare regimen and I love it. It leaves my skin hydrated and glowing. A lot of these serums and elixirs have unpleasant smell but this doesn’t. It’s a very faint smell and definitely not a bad one. I use this once a day as part of my daily routine but occasionally when my skin feels extra dry I will use it at night. I moisturize and put on my eye cream and put this on top to seal the moisture in. It is a bit pricey but it works wonders for dry skin. I will most likely purchase this and keep it as part of my skin routine.

Wanted to love it...
I really wanted to love this vitamin C oil, but unfortunately it causes my skin to break out. I thought maybe it was a temporary purge, but it seems to be continuing, which is not normal for my skin. In the short time that I've used it, I haven't noticed any positive changes, however, I realize most skincare takes time to work, so that's to be expected. I will say that one thing I usually enjoy about vitamin C products is the citrus scent, however this product doesn't have that and smells like chemicals. Fortunately that smell fades quickly, so it's not a lingering thing, but I much prefer the experience of other products I've used over this one. Ultimately this product is a no go for my dry, sometimes sensitive skin, but may work well for someone else.

Makes my skin feel soft and younger.
This oil says lightweight but this goes on feeling thick at first but after it absorbs into the skin it leaves my skin just feeling very soft and moist. The scent (like oils) is not good at first but after you rub it in the scent dissipates. The direction say to use 3-5 drops but that seems to be too much for my skin , I use about two drops at the most on my face and maybe one more for my neck. This contains a large variety of oils that contain Omega fatty Acids, Ceramide's, vitamin C and more. A little goes a long way, offers lots of softness and keeps my dry skin areas looking and feeling younger and healthier, I gave this four stars because it is rather pricey.

The tiniest bit goes so far
This vitamin C face oil is so nourishing. The tiniest bit goes a long way in my night routine and I expect this bottle to last a really, really long time. For that reason, I think it's worth the price. I definitely don't need to slather this on my face to feel the effect over night. It's an oil, so I avoid using it in the morning, especially if I need to go out. Using it once per day at nighttime has drastically improved my skin texture and my skin really does appear brighter.

For Dry Skin. Leaves Oil base
1.25,23~ This oil is interesting. As skincare, it's good but not replacing my Go to's. As a pre-foundation Glow, it works quite well on aging skin. Again, not replacing my Tru Alchemy Go to Glow. It does improve tone & it lasts but it is more oil than dry. Absorbs well and the shine lasts if you have dry skin. Kinda get what 'Super Elixir' was trying to do. Save the 2 steps of serum & glow but this is for very specific skin dry, over 40 type.

Greasy feeling
I wanted to like this but I had a problem with the greasy feeling it left on my skin. My roommate who has combination skin didn't have a problem with it but I have oily skin and this product seemed to stay oily feeling for a long time. It eventually would absorb in but I just didn't like the way it felt on my face. I wouldn't recommend it for people with naturally oily skin.

Oily but hydrating
This has a lot of really good ingredients in it, that you won’t find in a lot of other serums. I find that the “glow” it gives me is more of a shine because it’s quite oily. I don’t care for the smell, it actually reminds me of avocado oil. It’s extremely hydrating, and is definitely more of a night moisturizer than day, unless you’re going without makeup. It does seem to smooth wrinkles a bit, and a little spreads a long way. Not sure if the price point justifies the effects, but time will tell on that one.
