There is a lot in that box. You can download a PDF manual for each project...I hate manuals...but low and behold they have video tutorials! Now lesson one was not great quality, the volume was too low and thank goodness for the subtitles. The good news is the sound quality gets better in later videos. If you or a child want to learn coding this is a great kit especially if you, like me need a video course to go with it. The tutorials are not the greatest, but they get the job done. It's way over the head of my 9-year-old who is obsessed with coding and all things electrical engineering, but it's perfect for me to do it with him sitting by my side.My only wish is that the PDF instruction book you can access with the kit was written just a touch more for the true beginner: using some simple analogies for electricity and what components do and how the big picture of each project works. While it does explain what all of the parts are, it uses full jargon to do so, and that can be overwhelming at times; I googled quite a few different things along the way, but still got it and enjoyed the journey!Note: You have to already have a Raspberry Pi device to pair this with; it is not part of the kit. We have one, and this kit was a perfect add-on to give us so many different ways to use the Pi. The possibilities are endless! Once you reach a certain point, depending on what you're trying to do, you will require more customized PCBs to help with other functionality (echo location, visual/audio input, motors, external power packs, etc...).This is the type of kit that provides a bit of the basic needs but also includes a very nice assortment of more advanced parts to really get you to the next level for projects.
