Second car and the remote doesn’t turn on. Doesn’t matter the order. Piece of junk?

charge car battery 2 hours. Put batteries in remote.

how much play time can you get before the batteries die?

I've not timed it precisely but I think my son gets 15-25 minutes of playtime per battery. Good thing is they give you two batteries so you can have some continuity of play.
