Samson Airline Micro Rechargeable Wireless Earset Microphone (K3 Band)

I have three of these Samson Airline Micro Earset Wireless Systems. The first one I purchased in 2019 after trying many different headsets for my shows. The Samson worked well initially and I continue to use it to this day in all of my shows. The headset remains in place even though I am very active during performances and there is no belt pack or wire to deal with. I put the headset on and can easily turn it to standby when needed. Both the headset and the receiver are rechargeable and continue to maintain a charge. I cannot tell you how long the charge lasts because they have never quit after hours of use. I simply recharge them after each show and they're ready to go. I've only encountered a problem twice when using the Samson. Both times I was in a large auditorium and the lighting systems seemed to affect the units. There was audible buzzing and I believe this was due to dimmers or old ballasts in the lights. In both situations I had to use the house headsets and doing so reminded me how much easier it is to use the Samson. The second and third were purchased about five years and three years ago respectively for two churches where my wife is a pastor. Again, the units are still working perfectly. Having said this, while they are excellent for speaking, they probably are not the best for singers in terms of frequency response. (For singing, I never use a headset mic). I would not hesitate to recommend these units for any speaking engagement.

I wasn’t sure I would like a behind the ear wireless headset but I love this thing. Every now and again I get a little crackle and pop in the sound but that is few and far between. It was a bit tough figuring out how to put on, but once I figured that out, I find it to be extremely comfortable. I barely can tell it’s there at all. So far, no worries with the battery. The one thing that really kept me from giving all fives across the board is that the base cannot compensate for not having the headset turned on. If the base is on but the headset is off, you get a lot of unwanted popping and noise. We have to be sure to turn the headset on before turning the base in - and then turn the base off before turning the heat set off. It’s tricky but manageable. Get that fixed and I would have no complaints.

I liked this product but it should have had a longer time on seeing if it was going to last. Most equipment of this kind has a year on replacement. I used this mike for my church singing so when it started not sounding right was the 5 th week so we checked out others things that might have been wrong and it always came back to the mike by that time I found out time had run out by a month. I think you shoud replace it.

So far so good with this little treasure. We've been using expensive beltpacks with thin wire headsets for years; bought one of these for a yoga in the parks series we're running. Rechargeable batteries and small size are perfect for remote / outdoor use when paired with a battery powered speaker. We're not expect the range of our belt-pack wireless headsets but with the receiver antenna extended this seems to work fine.

These are great mics; however, they go out once a year. According to my purchase, I have had to purchase a new one every year in March. They are great for movement, just be prepared to purchase a new one every year. The extended warranty takes months to get to it and months to get it fixed. It works great until it doesn't, and then it doesn't work great.

I am a fitness instructor and have used an Airline 77 as well as Kimafun microphones over the past 4 years. When I saw this sleek version that I could use with my portable sound system (Block Rocker Plus) I decided it could well be worth the investment. So far okay. I have to be careful to set things up so that I have appropriate distance between the transmitter and receiver. It is so lightweight and comfortable. The sound is much better than the less expensive wireless microphones. I do get some occasional static and I keep trying to figure out what I can do to eliminate it. UPDATE: The mic now has constant static. It did not do this at first. I have turned the gain all the way down on the headset. I brought my Block Rocker home to see if the static was somehow coming from the gym environment but it was just as bad at home. I cannot adjust the gain on the Block Rocker, but I am confused as to why it was okay for a while and now will not produce a clear sound. I am frustrated after spending this amount of money and refuse to spend anymore. 😔

I’m a square dance caller and teach an occasional line dance throughout the nights and this little gadget is a life saver.
