So either you go Bluetooth for your hear phone or you can buy for around £2 a usb-C to 3.5mm jack plug adaptor. In the second case, you cannot charge and connect a wired headset at the same time. I never actually tried to connect a usb-C hub and connect to this hub at the same time a charger and a 3.5mm jack at the same time. But this should be actually possible. In this configuration, you'll need a usb-C hub on the top of the 3.5 mm jack plug adaptor. Otherwise there are also some battery operated Bluetooth adapter where you could connect your wire headset and then pick up the signal from the Bluetooth adapter on your tablet. But unless you have a really expensive wired headphone you absolutely wish to use, it is cheaper to buy another headphone. You are likely to lose of the audio quality of your expensive headset in this configuration as the Bluetooth sender device is likely to have inferior quality than your headset... Best regards, Clement **Q: Can this be used as Monitor, 2nd screen to a PC or laptop via USB C ?** A: unfortunately not. This is just a tablet. **Q: What is it like for reading magazines?** A: I find it fine. I read BBC Music, several cookery and home magazines from Kindle with no problems. With Kindle unlimited new issues are downloaded automatically or if you have no Kindle subscription you can pay for the specific issue you want, mine are about half the price of hard copies. The pages are clear, moving through them is fast and you can enlarge sections easily. When you open the magazine in landscape you can see three pages. You can scroll in either direction and tap to enlarge. If you want to enlarge further you can do so using thumb and finger. The colours look great on the Fire 11 screen. **Q: Can you install exe. Format programs? I am thinking about buying for work instead of a laptop** A: Yes you can but as yet there are a few things not running well on it, an example would be a slide show in the browser. It’s not as good as a laptop for functionality, I wouldn’t use it for work purposes other than reading. For entertainment purposes the screen is really good and all the usual Tv/ video things run well. The audio is a lot better too --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.in/products/531076534-amazon-fire-max-11-tablet-newest-gen-our-most-powerful](https://www.desertcart.in/products/531076534-amazon-fire-max-11-tablet-newest-gen-our-most-powerful) --- *Product available on Desertcart India* *Store origin: IN* *Last updated: 2026-10-08*
