iPad connection
If you own one of the newer apple products that has USB-C connectivity. This fully integrates with no issues and quality seems very good. I transferred files from an old windows xp laptop with no problem whatsoever

USB 2.0, not 3.0 as claimed
This is OK if you need to convert a USB-C port to run a USB-A device, but note that it does not pass the extra signals required for USB 3.0; it's a 4-pin adapter, not 9-pin. The photo of the Treedix tester shows the results of the adapter used in conjunction with a USB 3.0 USB-A to Micro-B cable. If you need to plug a mouse, keyboard or USB hub into a device with only USB-C ports then this adapter will come in handy, but if you need USB 3.0 speeds, look for other devices on Amazon which do. Note that there is no circuitry whatsoever inside this adapter. No chip, no capacitors. Also, this is not a "3.0" adapter at all. It is USB 2.0 only.

Broken after two months
This converter has just stopped working, it looks intact but I assume something internal has happened. I do not recommend.
