Ortho BugClear Lawn Insect Killer1, 20 lbs.

I live in the florida keys. My back yard is heavily wooded and my dogs were constantly getting covered in ticks. I've tried everything to eliminate the ticks. Tick drops..tick collars..tick sprays for dogs. Added all kinds of things to they're diets to help repel bugs and ticks. Ive tried the biffithrin concentrate spray for yards and NOTHING made them go away or even lessen them in the slightest. I bought a bag of this stuff and let me just say...It's been 3 days and not a single tick on them. Not a single one! I can't say much about mosquitoes at this time cause they are not really around since we haven't had much for rain. So that remains to be determined. And I don't expect much as far as eliminating those. Maybe diminish some but we will see. This stuff really works for ticks. And it works fast! For less than $20 Im just floored! A little bit goes a long way. If it lasts as the bag says I'll have enough for a year. Thank you!

Great for getting ticks and grubs out of your yard!! In northeast Ohio lately we’ve been getting ticks like crazy the past 4 to 5 years when they were non-existent prior to that. Now, I have no ticks and the moles have left too since this stuff kills grubs too. For the price, it’s well worth it for the peace of mind of my dogs not having to worry about ticks anymore and no more skunks in the yard since the grubs are now gone. This will be something I use every year now. Great product!!

My yard was covered in Voles. Voles like grubs. I out this out and it seemed the voles disappeared. I was hoping it might help with mosquitos as well, but is hasn’t seemed to reduce those numbers. I did notice I didn’t have as bad of a Japanese Beatle invasion. I put a mask and put in fertilizer spreader to distribute across the yard. This made it easy and Seemed to work well. It dies have some odor for a few days, then dissipates. It also hasn’t helped with our fire Ants.

This stuff works great. I have at least a couple dozen deer roaming around my property on any given day. Those deer bring deer ticks and they nd up on my dog. After I started using Ortho Bug Clear and since that time I have not seen another tick on my dog.

A little pricey, but well worth it to keep ticks fleas and other insects out of your yard, especially when you have animals.

Great stuff use in my garden for ticks i don't even wear rubber boots anymore an in the u.p i use to have too in my garden at least every time you went in garden you had 5 ticks on you not anymore 😀

You need to spread right on the top of the ants mounds plus water over them to stop seeing ants coming out of this mound. But in a short while ants are coming out of somewhere else. It says killing ants by contact. Guess ants just have chosen another pathway to make a new mound shown very soon on the lawn. By contact, a much more amount than stated will be needed, but still the soil may have some where not saturated with the chemical and thus ants cannot be eliminated as expected. Ants are coming out in the same area applied within two weeks. It also kills grubs, but still a lot more amount should be applied compared to what the bag stated.
