I had read other reviews that said it took 3-4 hrs even with multiple people but I thought the instructions were very simple, everything was there, and some parts were already installed! Works great and looks great and was easy to put together. You can do it with one person until it’s time to put the top on, someone needs to hold it. The top is very stable, you have to put some weight into it to have it go back in(which is great bc it doesn’t fell like one little push will make it slam down. The pistons are really nice and strong. Review: Overall great quality coffee table. There are some small gaps where a few pieces don’t line up close enough, I thought it was some error on our part but we checked screws and steps and couldn’t make them any tighter. Also the drawer bottoms are a very thin material, which some were cut a bit too big causing some of the gaps, and the thinness of the material takes away from the usefulness of the drawers and hidden storage compartment. They are unable to hold much weight without bending.
