We live on a large pond where it is very windy. Don't think it would hurt to try it on some ornamental cabbage, might prolong their season. **Q: How often do you need to apply Wilt-Pruf in the Midwest on zone 6 ?** A: We apply it to hydrangeas once, after they have lost their leaves near the end of October . We live near the water in southern Rhode Island. **Q: What is the actual shelf life of the product? Unmixed. I do understand that it lasts longer than one year (two winters) but how long, exactly? Thanks.** A: It is really indefinite. As long as the cap is tightly sealed so that the product does not evaporate, it will last for several year/ many years. It does not degrade in the container. It must be stirred well before use. **Q: When spring has come how do you remove wilt pruf from evergreens?** A: you don't have to remove it. it will go away on it own with time and rainfall ## Frequently Bought Together - Wilt-Pruf® Concentrate | Organic Plant Protector | Professional-Grade Moisture Retention (32 oz) - Chapin 20000 Made in USA 1 -Gallon Lawn and Garden Pump Pressured Sprayer, for Spraying Plants, Garden Watering, Weeds and Pests, Polypropylene, Translucent White - Gordon’s SpeedZone Lawn Weed Killer, 20 Ounces, 652400 --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.in/products/53200419-wilt-pruf-07009-plant-protector-concentrate-32-ounce](https://www.desertcart.in/products/53200419-wilt-pruf-07009-plant-protector-concentrate-32-ounce) --- *Product available on Desertcart India* *Store origin: IN* *Last updated: 2026-10-02*
