I really love the pack, and would expect no less from Arc'teryx. The most important thing I would mention is that this is definitely a day pack. Trying to do some sort of overnight trip would be beyond the space constraints.Pros: Separate compartments for everything - large dedicated pocket for shovel/probe. Map pocket. Thermos Pocket. Food pocket, etc. Great fit, and great straps. It almost feels like you aren't wearing a pack when skinning or making turns. Easy A-frame ski carry. Very waterproof outer - it kept everything dry for an extended slog in very wet snow/sleet.Cons: None that I can think of, though check the sizing carefully. I have a pretty long torso and ordered a tall - it was waaay to long for me. Regular size fits me fine. The hip belt could also be worked on (no padding, just a thin strap), but I don't see that as being an issue as the pack isn't large enough to load it that heavy.Also, I would note that the pictures make this pack look really wide, and I was a little concerned I would hit it when I swing my arms. That hasn't been an issue at all, even when fully loaded.
