Review: RIP OFF/ COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY - i paid over $400 for mine from the company directly and literally a few months later it is occluded and has hairline fissures inside of it and when i wrote to find out if they would replace the drawers, i was sternly told no, despite showing them pictures. they gave me this reply: Acrylic is a product that is made from fossil fuels. At some point, it came in contact with a high viscosity chemical such as most household cleaning agents, fumes from household cleaners, paint fumes, hair dye, nail polish remover, products with alcohol such as hairspray, makeup remover, denatured alcohol, or any CFC based compressed can fumes. This will cause the acrylic to stress and if the chemical is in direct contact with the acrylic it could cause it to craze or have a pealing effect which you have noticed. Unfortunately this phenomenon is not a manufacturer defect and is not covered under warranty and can occur to every type of acrylic if exposed. We apologize and regret we are unable to assist you with this matter. I have the ICEbOX Wide. It is absolutely beautiful!!! It's looks better than the pictures. It truly lives up to its name... Clear as ICE! Don't waste your money on the cheap knockoffs & other cheap boxes, they crack or turn dull fairly quickly. I've had the icebox over a year now & mine looks the same. I love the simple fact that I can see all my makeup! No more "out of sight, out of mind" sayings for me! I didn't even know it was sold here on Amazon. I saw 1star & read the review; and felt that this product doesn't deserve 1star based on one person's negative reviews. I buy a lot of stuff on Amazon & it's prime acct, I only take time to do reviews for items I absolutely love. And even though I did not get mine through here, I have nothing but positive things to say. All my friends love my box & everyone who sees it, can't help but be amazed at how beautiful & organized it is. And I've seen a lot of celebrities with it too.
