Was as described. Hard to use but I think you need to get use to techniques to use it.

NOT FOOD SAFE, DO NOT USE ON FOOD!
I was dubious about the quality of this gold leaf when it arrived as the packaging was merely a zip lock bag. It is very plasticy feeling and doesn't dissolve or disintegrate when you handle it like gold leaf I've had before from catering companies. This is advertised as being able to be used with food and edible. It is not! The way to tell if it is edible gold leaf is that it should not burn. I tried a small corner of a leaf to see what happened and lo and behold, it burned! Therefore containing impurities making it not safe to eat! DO NOT USE ON FOOD THAT IS FOR CONSUMPTION!
