Please don't buy any product from Vergo and suffer like me. They send defective product and when asked for return they waste your time till day of return/ replacement cross, without any resolution and then they force you to keep their defective product at home. I ordered this chair for my husband for good ergonomics and wanted it urgently...received this product on Jan 11 and on assembling noticed that chair had following issues: 1. seat was tilted to one side 2. poor locking system 3. chair topples back on reclining 4. unstable armrest I immediately contacted amazon asking for return..they told they will contact seller and seller will arrange return pick up I got contacted by Vergo team 2 days later ..i asked them for return ( this was within return window).. They told to be rest assured and they will resolve issue ..after 2 days told they will be sending technician to resolve the issue ..next 2 days no one came ..2 days later one person arrived, checked the product and told it can't be repaired and will inform the seller ...again i messaged asking for return as already 2 weeks had passed since i received the order and there was no resolution given. 2 days later Vergo team contacts and says washer needs to be changed ... I again contact Amazon and tell them they are just wasting my time and to help me with this ...Amazon tells me they will contact seller and arrange pick up ...2 more days later i.e today Vergo team says product can't be returned / replaced and asks to send video of chair . Today is 29th Jan .. 18th day since receiving the product... I again requested them for a quick resolution since it is so many days and issue is still not resolved and I'm in urgent need of a chair.. the senior manager.. Ergo team Simran replies extremely rudely and asks me " why did you buy chair online if you needed it urgently .. You should have bought from store"... Extremely rude team and not customer friendly Please don't buy this product and get cheated.

First of all, thank you to all buyers who wrote reviews for this chair. It helped me a lot to find a good chair for myself. People want value for their money and Vergo chair provides that. I've tested this chair for any defects and possible issues that may arise in future. But I must say there aren't any. But there are pros and cons. Pros: 1)Build Quality: Sturdy, quality plastic material has been used, feels comparable to top brands. The metallic stand gives it more durability and long term promise. 2)Movements and Alignment: It fits well providing a good back support. The tilt is also good, and for me it is what I was looking for. Head-rest is okay at this price point, and does the job well on proper alignment. 3)Comfort: Yes, comfort is very important and I'd say the seat is comfortable to sit for long duration, cushioning is proper. 4)Appearance: Well it does look good. Adds style to your room. 5)Noise: Well, it does produce sound when you tilt it but is very feble, you won't hear it much. It's not a noise I'd say. 6)Cushioned hand rest: Well this is important and this chair has it. 7)Installation is very simple and easy with the guide, no screw driver needed. Now coming to cons: 1)The plastic cover over the gas lift has to be manually adjusted when you lift the chair. There should have been a socket that could hold the upper part of cover(The cover has 3 parts similar to radio antenna that can expand and contract.) 2)The back support could have been better, the loose end doesn't allow it to stick close to back. Could have added a closed end adjustment with inward and outward movement. All in all, it's a good chair for this price point, cons are not that bothersome, as nothing is perfect in this world. This chair is close 😉

I am one of those people who for years spent a lot of time sitting at a desk on a daily basis. Recently I felt it was the right time to get a chair that my back would appreciate. With my research and limited understanding, I came across many brands that sell ergonomic chairs. This design had an appeal to it compared to the ones that fell within my budget. (Personal Preference) Q. So why Vergo? A. Although there are other brands that have the carbon copy design, what I liked is the color for this SKU. Other brands have identical products, but the models have an accent to them. I preferred a solid black. Other brands have identical models in a more affordable price bracket. But the warranty from them is only 1 Year. Whereas here, Vergo is providing 3 Years of warranty. Hence the higher price seemed justified. Q. Are there any factors that could be improved? A. My build is 5'7" with my upper and lower body being more or less the same. I found the chair good but a more pronounced Lumbar would have been appreciated. Q. How is my overall experience with the product/brand? A. Overall my experience is very positive. The item was shipped and delivered sooner than shown on the platform. I could not assemble the chair myself as the Allen Key provided with the chair did not slot into the sidearm hexes that screw into the bottom of the seat. However, the assembly is easy to complete. I was in touch with the brand POC and was accommodated with a technician visit the next day. The technician was kind enough to provide a spare Allen key that helped solve the issue. I highlighted the concern with Vergo and was assured this would not be repeated in future units. Q. Any suggestions that I would want the brand to implement? A. (i) The unit did not come with a warranty booklet. I prefer any brand to include a printed document, that clarifies which part is covered under warranty and its duration. (ii) Basic safety brochure encouraging DOs/DON'Ts since the item comes with a gas spring & piston. (iii) Safety regulation certificate which states the benchmark that is met by suppliers for their QC tests. Q. How likely would I recommend this to others? A. Based on the design, appeal, function, price, and warranty window this was a good investment. Q. What is the height of the handlebars top from the ground? is it 66cm? Need this info to check if it will slide under the table when not in use. A. At the lowest height of the chair, the arms (at lowest elevation mode) come up to 25.25 inches / 64.135 cm / 2.1041667 ft.
