Great solution when you need good lighting, but not the overpowering brightness of most LED shop lights. Also the light comes with a 6 ft power cord, not a 4ft cord that was stated in Amazon specs.

I have a thing for indirect light so I mount LED light fixtures behind the tv. This fits very well behind my 83 inch TV and offers plenty of light now I’m going to try to get all of these checkmarks as easily as possible. Looks as good as an 5ft led light bar can look and it works. There’s no noise because it is a light. It doesn’t feel like it’s cheaply made. She’s a thick boy. I’ve had it for a few months now so as far as lifespan…. It’s spanning idk. I asked my wife what she thought about the cord length she said shed like it to be longer and a bit more girth. I fear she wasn’t talking about the light bar. 😐

I did a lot of research and decided that I wanted the 5000k lighting and am so glad I indulged the extra cost. I did not want the bluish 6500k for half cost, nor the 3000k or 4000k with less brightness.I liked these so much I bought them again. Instant on and the entire work area is amazingly bright, like daylight. Wonderful. And I now have 3 of these lights daisy chained along the ceiling of the work area. Flip the switch to on and instant daylight in the basement work area. Excellent.One issue, which the company supplies if you wish to change their product, is that the on/off switch is too close to the lamp. The cord plugs into the lamp on one side of the wire and the other plugs into your AC outlet. Fine. But the on/off switch is too close to the lamp so that it hangs down from the ceiling in an awkward way. It would be nice if the cord was a couple feet longer and that the on/off switch was closer to the AC plug than it is.They provide additional partial cord with double wires exposed (included in the box) so you can modify the cord easily enough if you wish. I bought the wire to do this, and then chose not to after I received the wire. I kinda got used to seeing the switch hanging down from the ceiling and looped around a hook on a pegboard. The fluorescent fixture over my sink finally quit. So I replaced the bulb. $11. Didn't help. I guessed that I had the wrong kind of tube (there's both slow and fast start), so I got another bulb. Another $12. Didn't help. That meant that the FIXTURE was dead. And it finally dawned on me that I should replace the whole thing - with this well-thought-out light. It is very lightweight, very bright, and does away with all of the ballast and transformer and starter and finicky fluorescent bulbs. The kit also comes with all of the options: 3 different "cords" - to wire directly into A/C, to plug into a standard outlet (with switch inline), or to gang multiple of these lights together. It also includes mounting hardware. Once I ripped out the old fixture, it was pretty easy to install this wonderful light and not have to deal with all of the problems of fluorescent fixtures again. It's attractive. It's bright. It comes on instantly. And it probably uses less electricity. Yay.
