Worked for bios recovery on an unlisted MX25L12873F chip
bought this CH341A programmer kit to recover/reflash the bios on an MSI laptop that I picked up as a repair project. The laptop still powered on, but the bios setup was locked, so I wanted to make a verified dump of the SPI flash and reprogram it with the correct official bios image. My chip was a Macronix MX25L12873F, which 1 did not see specifically listed on the included 25-series support chart, but the programmer still worked correctly with it. The chip was detected through flashrom under the compatible Macronix profile, and I was able to read the full 16mb bios image, make multiple matching dumps, write the replacement image, and verify it successfully. The SOIC& clip also worked well enough once I had it aligned correctly. As with all bios/SPI work, the connection has to be solid. I had the laptop fully disconnected from AC power, main battery, and CMOS battery before attaching the clip. After reading the chip multiple times and confirming matching hashes, I flashed the official MSI bios image and the laptop booted successfully afterward with access restored A few notes for anyone buying this for bios repair: Make sure your chip voltage is correct before connecting anything. My chip was a 3.3 V SPI flash chip, not 1.8 V. Also, do not skip the backup step (trust me). Read the chip more than once and verify that the dumps match before writing anything. The included adapter/clip is useful, but the process still requires care, patience, and the right software. Overall, this kit did exactly what I needed. It worked on my MX25L12873F even though that exact chip was not listed and it saved this laptop from becoming an expensive paperweight. Good value for anyone doing bios recovery, EEPROM/SPI flashing, or board-level tinkering/repair work.

Lifesaver for BIOS Recovery – Worked Perfectly on ASRock BC-250
I used this WWZMDIB CH341A BIOS Programmer to recover and flash the BIOS on my ASRock BC-250, and it worked like a charm. If you’ve ever bricked a motherboard or need to update firmware directly on a chip, this is the tool you want in your kit. The kit comes complete with the CH341A programmer, a solid SOIC8 clip, and SOP8/SOP16 adapter boards — everything you need for in-circuit programming. No soldering required — just clip it on the chip and go. The SOIC8 clip held firm and made clean contact with the BIOS chip on the first try. It supports a wide range of EEPROMs (24, 25, 93 series), and it was compatible with the chip on my ASRock board with no issue. I used open-source tools with it, and the backup, erase, and write process was smooth and reliable. If you’re into PC repair, BIOS modding, or just want a way to unbrick a bad flash, this little device is powerful, affordable, and easy to use. Absolutely worth it for the peace of mind alone.

Works.
It works. There is a lot of misinformation on the internet regarding the data line voltage being too high but I have not experienced any issues. The amperage is not high enough to damage anything unless you were to use this on the SAME chip repeatedly for long periods. The danger is from cumulative wear on the SAME chip. I'm taking away one star because of a flimsy retention bar that falls out all the time. Apparently there is a QC problem.

Fixed My Thinkpad!
The kit provided the parts necessary for me to follow a guide to fix the thunderbolt charging and display issues on my Thinkpad t480s laptop. Incredible! I think I'd only recommend it to someone who's pretty techy though since I had to use a live iso Linux and the pins are a bit hard to get on the chip correctly.

Good product but didn't have the board I needed.
Did not have 1.8v board so did not work for me

Heads-up: 3.3V use requires a hardware modification
I’m leaving this review as a heads-up for buyers who need to program a 3.3V SPI flash chip. I ordered quickly for a time-sensitive repair and initially understood the “3.3V/5V switching” description to mean the logic voltage was selectable. After receiving it, I learned that the yellow jumper only changes programmer/TTL mode. With no target connected, I measured 3.28V on the labeled 3.3V supply so that checks out, but 5.05V on the SPI CS signal. Deeper in the listing images, the seller explains that true 3.3V operation requires disconnecting CH341A pin 28 from 5V and wiring pins 28 and 9 to 3.3V. That is a hardware modification, not a simple voltage-setting change. The included clip, adapters, and wires appear useful, but my board also had uneven soldering and visible residue. I have not tested its actual programming function because I do not currently have a safe compatible target. This may be fine for someone who understands the limitation or plans to modify it. If you need out-of-box 3.3V SPI logic, this version is not ready for that without modification.

Works, Buy 2 just in case - Poor Shipping
Can confirm this is a working clone. Buy 2 just in case as Amazon Fulfillment ships these in paper and plastic bags, and several of the connectors were bent/broken. I had to salvage bits and pieces from a reorder to get a complete programmer.

Cheap. Clip doesn't connect properly
The clip doesn't sit flush with any chips, so the usb programmer doesn't recognize anything that is connected to it. The programmer works as intended, and so do the included cables, but you need to buy a better clip

Me funciono perfecto
