I bought this SMALLRIG double-layer suction mount for my GoPro, and it's seriously impressive. I mounted it to the side of my vehicle and drove around for over 30 minutes at speeds up to 50 mph—and it did not budge. The suction grip is incredibly strong and gives you confidence right away. Setup is simple, and the adjustable arm makes positioning your camera easy. I used it on a clean, smooth painted surface and made sure to press down firmly before locking both suction levers. Zero issues. This thing is built like a tank—feels much more durable than cheaper suction mounts I’ve used in the past. No wobble in the footage either. Great for car shots, travel videos, or even stationary time-lapses. This is very powerful and stable. It’s durable and has lasted a while. I’m impressed. Highly adjustable. While it is very sturdy, I would only use it for small electronics. There are even more heavy duty ones for bigger cameras and monitors. Worth the money.

Bought this suction cup setup to mount my Insta360 to the window of the tour bus while on vacation. It worked great and has a really secure suction cup. Wish I would have bought this one sooner since on my last vacation I was just holding the camera by hand and ended up scratching the lens. Great price and good quality.

Great value for money

very good design.

The overall quality is great, very well made, but the suction cup system doesn't stick to vertical non-glass surfaces long term, especially in a vehicle. The phone holder mechanism needs be be returned to show slightly more expansion to allow for using a phone in a case and instead of the surfaces in the phone clamp area being flat, maybe make them a V shape to allow different phone button variations from different manufacturers, so that you can actually use those buttons while it's mounted. All that said, when it's attached, it's solid and doesn't transmit vibration too bad through to the phone.

I have tried a bunch, because I need the GoPro to stay attached to glass, with an external charger, for about two hours. All of the others I have tried, really struggled to last that long, so I would typically find it on the concrete when I went back to get it. I have used this item at least a dozen times in the same scenario and it hasn't failed me once. As soon as you attach it, you can tell it isn't going anywhere. I have always been happy with my purchases from Smallrig.

The suction cup is amazing.

Had this mounted to my windshield inside while doing heavy off-road driving. Corrugations, rocksteps, dropping into ruts and a lot of jumping around, this thing never came unstuck. Really good build quality and good price.

Great suction mount from smallrig. While it has all the features you expect it includes a protective cover for suction pad to keep it clean while in storage. Locks in place well to maintain camera angle. Suction holds really well. Packs away nice and small.
