Or do you use them straight from the bottle?** A: It depends on the effect you want. I think they are often used straight from the bottle, but for a watercolor effect they can be diluted. The small pack is a great way to just try them out. A little goes quite a way with these. **Q: Can this be used on silk charmeuse?** A: I have very limited experience with only cotton.
