Nokia 110 4G Feature Phone with 4G, Camera, Bluetooth, FM radio, MP3 player, MicroSD, Long-Lasting Battery, and Pre-loaded Games, Dual Sim - Blue

Bought this for my grandfather who lost his previous Nokia feature phone and is is not happy using a smart phone out and about. He has a tablet at home for use at home, he just feels he has no need to be "connected" to apps when going out and about, and would rather a phone that is small, erganomic with real buttons, and good battery life, and not too expensive (in case he looses it)I specifically chose this, because whilst there are indeed many feature/dumb phones, it is a nokia which he is already familiar with, and also more importantly its 4G/LTE. Most current feature phones are 2g/GPRS with some rare 3g ones. (note it does have a fall back to 3g and 2g if 4g LTE network is not available, and it has a dual sim)You may be asking why is 4G important on a feature phone? Well the reason is simple. Here in the UK, operators are already decommissioning their 2g masts at a large scale. In addition some operators are also decomissioning their 3g masts too, a process thats likely to accellerate moving forward. Therefore by getting a 2g (and to a lesser extent a 3g) phone today could lead to my grandfather being more and more likely to be caught out with no coverage in certain places where there is only 4G and higher, or the remaining 2g/3g are at capacity.4G simply gives a better choice for capacity now, and remains viable in the future, at the expense of bprobably haveing a slightly shorter battery life than a pure 2G phone (its still very good compared to most smart phones). As of course as stated, its can drop down to 3g/2g if needed.It also has text to speech and other features usefull for the elder generation.Very well reccommended for anyone seeking a small reliable feature phone.

Bought this as a replacement for my mothers old mobile after she managed to kill it in the sink!This Nokia is great as a basic phone, it has quite a vibrant screen, the buttons have a good tactile response and the keypad illuminates in the darkness. The call quality over a 4G network is just as good as a top end smartphone as it works with networks that allow the use of HD Voice codecs.Now the not so good parts - Firstly for a tech-phobic elderly person , you're going to have to help them set it up. The menus and set up process can be a bit tricky to start with. Similarly it takes some getting used to the format to add numbers to the phonebook or use the SIM tool kit.The camera is, as you'd probably expect at this price point, absolutely terrible. It's good enough for an "emergency photo" of, say, an item in a shop to send to someone, but you're not going to be taking family portraits with this. Similarly, the screen - while very clear and capable for text, really isn't for viewing snaps on. There is a media player, which is very good but the video player... well... lets just say 405 line TV was double the resolution - but, it /does/ actually play videos kindof!The battery lasts about 5-6 days here in a 4G strong signal area so ideal for my mother who forgets to charge things, and there is a headphone socket to listen to music and it has a radio built in that can play over the speaker or the headphones.Overall a great little phone for being a phone, and perhaps a useful music player, just don't expect it to be a iPhone or Pixel! For what it does (except photos), it does it well.

I don't usually write reviews if I really dislike a particular product but this one deserves it.I am a retired Engineer with no wish for any piece of so called Smart tech so I tried what I thought would be a upgrade for me. My old phone is on the left in the image with the shiny new 110 on the right.This Nokia 110 was purchased in March 2024 as a replacement for my 2007 Nokia (old company mobile). Bad decision all round! I suppose its familiarity breeds contempt, but the build quality of the old 2007 Nokia is superb, positive keys to press, looks and is solid (been dropped plenty of times). Large memory specifically for Calendar items which was great for my usage.Compared with the 2024 Nokia 110 the shell is cheap plastic, wouldn't like to drop it onto anything hard, the keys are just not positive, on some you can, without trying receive the wrong info which is very frustrating. The memory on the calendar is miniscule, the camera is rubbish (why bother?) it was advertised as 'with 4G' but has no internet connectivity (why bother?)2 Sims, it will work fine with 1 and the other ignored, quite fiddly to fit though.For the Camera you will need a (max) 32g Micro SD card, even more fiddly to fit and remove, but why bother when the camera unit is so bad. The ear speaker was also poor in my opinion.On a small positive the battery life is good.So, I gave it a run of nearly 3 months, got fed up with it and went back to the old 2007 modelOther people may love this small pocket mobile phone but it is very much not for me.Caveat emptor.

Quickly dispatched and delivered the next day. I was a little worried after reading reviews for the seller, but I didn’t need to worry as the phone is exactly as described and works perfectly. Excellent seller. I would recommend. The phone is perfect for texting, calls and calendar reminders. The internet can’t really be used for browsing due to the small and low resolution screen, but can be used for sending MMS. The battery is very long lasting compared to modern Smartphones. All in all the phone is very easy to use and well made for the price.

I ordered the blue phone and received the black one. The back is impossible to get off - tells you insert your thumbnail into the slot to remove, not that simple! I had to go get a neighbour to do it and they struggled. Now I can't get it off again if I need to. Sound on phone calls is not so good. Also if you do use the internet it comes up with message that there is not enough memory or no connection. Thankfully I don't want to go online with it which is why I bought it so that's not a problem for me but might be for others who do. Most annoyingly there is no option to alter the sound on the buttons. When texting or using buttons they made a really loud and annoying sound. I have looked online at manuals etc but seems to be no way to switch this off. You get what you pay for I guess but these things could be improved - especially removing the back cover.

Phone seems to work fine with no problems. Battery lasts ages. Nice and compact- you can stick it in your pocket and forget it’s there. Bought this for my son, for emergencies, as I refused to buy him a smart phone (he’s a teenager). He’s too embarrassed to be seen with it so keeps it hidden most of the time and only used when necessary. Job done I’d say!

To turn off the annoying button press noise: go to Menu => Settings => Profiles => click the "three bars" button on the left => Settings => Other Alert Rings => Key Tone => SilentHope this helps! No, it's not intuitive, but you only have to do it once. There are a bunch of other volume controls under Profiles => Settings you can alter too.Other than the obtuse menu design, the phone is great for the price. Yes, it has bare-bones functionality, but if you can't live without all the bells and whistles of modern convenience, you should probably get a cheap smartphone. In order to escape the digital parasite in your pocket, however, a simple "feature phone" like this is just the ticket.

Update Jan '22I figured out the predictive text issue! There is no visual cue but whilst a suggested word is underlined you press down on the centre ring and alternate words from the dictionary will be displayed.UK Gov. has announced 2033 is the termination of 2g and 3g networks, mobile operators are doing it earlier though so get a 4g phone before your 2/3g one is redundant.The goodIt has 4G network support, as 2g and 3g networks could be disconnected soon it will be supported for longer.In use the phone feels very responsive and quick.Accessibility - The font size can be increased to 'large' and the menu can be 'zoomed'.Calls - Decent when making a phone call, clear and loud enough.Predictive text - Thankfully it has this feature, many backup phones from other manufacturers do not.Backlit keypad - Good for night use, the timer can be adjusted before it turns off too.Camera - Compared to my smartphone this takes photos lightning quick. It is much lower resolution however.The badScreen - Low resolution, small but serviceable. Plastic is a fingerprint magnet.Accessibility - The text can only be increased once to 'Large' no further adjustment is available. The larger fonts only apply to dialling numbers and Menu items. SMS text messages and phone address book remain small.SMS / Texting - Predictive text is present but sadly impaired. I can't seem to activate or select alternative suggested words other than the first word it comes across in the dictionary! Also there is no emoji/smileys/emoticon etc. Texts are also not stored in a threaded view, you will have several entries from the same person for each message received.Audio - A poor quality speaker is apparent as distortion can be heard when simply listening to the built in ringtones with higher pitch. It is fine for most calls or music though.Software - Less options than a Nokia 206 circa 2012. Can't edit all the shortcuts, change text colour.Camera - Inexplicably the flash the the camera is missing but they put a torch on the top of the phone instead. This makes no sense as it can't be used to help illuminate photos. It is also a very low resolution camera, you'd only use this in an emergency.Value - It's not bad value for money but could be around £10 cheaper to compete with the similar spec phones like Tesco Mobile Imo Dash 4g. I'd suggest trying to buy this with a carrier subsidy rather than sim free.

Faux contacts dans les touches. => Souvent obligé d'appuyer plusieurs fois sur les touches pour prise en compte de la commande.La batterie se décharge rapidement, en moins de 12 heures après une charge d'une nuit complète.Mélange de français et d'anglais dans les menus.Pas de possibilité de programmer des touches pour composer des numéros de téléphone.Il est difficile d'ouvrir la coque pour accéder à la batterie et à la carte sim.Pas de notice d'utilisation dans le téléphone et la notice trouvée sur internet n'est pas complète.

Just turns off randomly and can't get it back on for up to an hour. Can't return despite buying very recently

Dieses Telefon ist wirklich sein Geld nicht wert. Batterie hat sich schnell entladen, es hat sich sporadisch beim Textnachrichten schreiben ausgeschaltet und gleich neu gestartet. Das Ladegerät hat so ein dünnes Kabel, das nach der 3 Aufladunge, einen Kabelbruch hatte. Ich empfehle es nicht.
