All I can say that it has proved very effective against wood lice, moths and moth lava. Also I sprayed on carpets with no problems. **Q: I'm about to install a 100% wool carpet. Can this be used to pretreat carpet as preventative measure. If so how long will it be effective?** A: I'm not sure about the answer. I have an 80% wool carpet that's been down for about 30 years. After spraying on numerous occasions the moths still see to be around.. Maybe if you prespray the carpet and spray annually in the autumn to kill grubs might keep them at bay. Also leaving sticky moth traps might help; thing is I believe these traps lure the moths through the windows but theyre probably male moths. **Q: I cant find the reviews. How good is it** A: I used it to get rid of fleas. After spraying my entire house I went out for the rest of the day because it’s impossible to stay because of the fumes ( I definitely recommend wearing a good mask). It’s very good we never had a problem again with anything that crawls. **Q: How long do you have to leave the house for, after spraying? Is this effective on cockroaches?** A: According to the supplier you should leave the treated space until the fine mist has settled and become dry. in my experience this took about 4 hours in the summer on a dry day. Others things that was done to help eradicate these nuisiance pests was the following: Washed and ironed EVERY item of clothing that the whole family possess, it took me about three days continuous use of the washing machine and two whole days or ironing. Anything that couldn't be washed, was put into airtight bags with the air sucked out using the hoover. even the sheets, pillow cases etc has been washed and placed into airtight bags and seeled. Thrown away into a skip was the lovely wooded bed base, because I couldn't bare to sleep in it no longer,. such a shame. Also threw varios other bedroom pieces of furniture. Basically, I wanted to be sure the pests don't come back even though I have bought the above item and more besides. Using these kits go hand in hand with doing all the above and more besides. So tiring and stressful, but hopefully, we won't see those beasts again in our house. We also stripped border paper off my Daughters bedroom wall because when I accidently squirted the Proctector C onto it, I noticed a bedbug come sneaking out, so on a closer inspection, I peeled away some of the border paper and saw about 10 smallerbedbugs lurking there, so OFF came all the wall paper and we emulsioned the bedroom instead. The whole upstairs has been washed, smoked, powdered and squirted, not once but around three times in all. Now it's a matter of watching and maintaining a general once weekly wash all bed linen and hoover and spray. How long for?
