We do know that PC-7 and PC-11 is suitable for using with rigid PVC and cPVC so the Chemist says "it is likely" that PC-7 and PC-11 will stick to uPVC. However, because uPVC isn't very common in the US it hasn't been tested so we can't be 100%. They do intend to follow up on this question by carrying out testing on uPVC but obviously that isn't very helpful for you at the moment! PC-7 is a thick and sticky paste epoxy, thicker than peanut butter. Our advice would be to apply it by (gloved) hand. Lubricate the fingers with methylated spirit, which can also be applied onto the PC-7 to assist with smoothing it out. This may increase the cure time a little. Placing the container in a warm place, and completing the repair on a warm day will help reduce the viscosity of the PC-7.
