Review: Works great for chainsaws with a 16" bar or longer. I tried using a ladder but it's too wide for my bar. I bought a couple of straight 2×4×10 footers, because I'm mostly milling 8 footers. This gives me a couple of feet to rest the mill on before I start my cut. Watch a couple of videos and you'll be a busy beaver in no time! Make sure each bracket is level,then set the depth of your saw to miss the bottom ofvthe brackets by an inch or so.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: the illustration shows that one can use a board that is 2" by 4" however, a real 2x4 is 1 1/2 by 3 1/2.  What is the actual width of the rail support?**
A: Standard 2x4s work fine

**Q: Are the screws typical China chrome garbage?**
A: Lots of nuts and bolts for sure. Instructions were next to useless-thank goodness there was a printed page of photos. I eventually got it together. Actually I cut my first log during May. No as easy as it looked. Good luck.

**Q: Will work with alaskan chainsaw mill?**
A: Yes. Just get two 2x4s that are at least 2 feet longer than you want to mill. Center the 2x4s so you can use then for an on and off ramp to keep your mill level. Wear chaps.
