Will this box fit my grill?** A: Yes it does fit. It's kind of a flimsy setup though. Where you bolt it onto the side of the grill, that metal is pretty thin and it leans a little because the side fire box is heavy. I put some metal spacers in between the firebox and the cooking chamber. There really should be a metal bracket going from the smoker box to the leg of the grill and bolted on for support. You'll want to have this grill where you want it permanently once you add the side firebox. Because the wheels are on the opposite side, now you have to use the handle on the side firebox to lift that end to move the unit. It's too flimsy to lift the unit just with that handle, it felt like it was going to break off. I actually removed the wheels and mounted 4 heavy duty rubber wheels on the 4 legs, so I can roll it where ever I want it without having to lift it on one side.You might also try and fashion a baffle or deflector for the inside of the cooking chamber, because there is no adjustment controlling the heat and smoke distribution entering the grill chamber. The current design causes the meat to cook faster on the side with the firebox. You can control the airflow with the adjustment on the smoker box air input, and the smoke stack, but it does nothing for distributing the heat evenly once inside the grill. The heat and smoke will follow the air flow, but it's really not the best design. You will need to rotate your food, or keep it as far from that opening as you can... or find a way to diffuse the direct heat from rising until it get further into the cooking chamber.If you want to make this even more versatile, there's a circular "knock-out" on both sides of the cover for the gas chamber. With a little ingenuity, you can also add a rotisserie to the gas side of this grill. In my opinion, that's what really makes this an "All-in-One" winner. You can't use the side burner and the rotisserie at the same time because the motor sets above the side burner, but it's a great modification. I'm thinking I had to drill new holes for the mounting bracket, and had to cut the length of the spit so it didn't continue outside of the grill side and into the lid of the charcoal chamber. Winter is just ending here, so it's been sitting covered for the past several months. I bought this in the fall and only used the rotisserie once before I covered it, so I'm not sure exactly what model rotisserie kit I used.I hope this helps... How do I install model 22424 side firebox to it** A: If it is bigger than the 2828 chargrilled that is what I had the bigger one I matched it up on the outside to make sure. Took the wheel off the big grill screwed it together then put the wheel on then everything went together easy.
