I loved the book. It teaches you the basics of Generative AI and Artificial Intelligence without breaking the bank. I was interested in the subject, but I didn't know if I was able to grasp it. The book was very informative. My only problems with it were 1) an overreliance on hype, and 2) the formatting was abysmal. I don't know if the author was trying to make it look as if the book were "written and formatted by AI." Either way, having a book of that length with no page numbers was annoying. Be prepared to write your own page numbers in the book. Thanks, AI!

It's an interesting book. I wished for more tips in how to use them and information about how the market is stacking up, regarding tokens and what all of that means. Rather than the detailed background of what AI does and how. So, average; not bad but not good. Also had quite a few spelling/grammatical errors. Wonder if AI did some of it and it wasn't proof read by a human. I'm sure the author means well.

Great book content to understand easily what is AI and how to apply it at work. The table of contents page numbers is incorrect. eg. the correct page number for Generative AI Foundations is 57, not 52 as it is written in the table of contents. Please review and correct the page numbers in the table of contents.

David Patel achieves his goal: to introduce his readers to the fascinating world and possibilities of Generative AI. There's more to cover, obviously, but he leaves us wanting for more knowledge on this topic.

I've just started reading this book to get a better understanding of AI capabilities and an oversight of what's out there. I have read about machine learning which is also covered in this book. I didn't enjoy reading the previous book (American Author) as there was a lot of 'computer science' speak so stopped half way but this book is well written and very easy to understand. I also find it interesting with the use of examples of AI across different industries. It allows me to think about how it can be used within financial services where I work. I'm enjoying reading the book so far and as mentioned it's easy to understand with little to no jargon. Definitely recommend to anyone new to AI needing an overview.
