I always have great success with incubating and am still using it as a backup. It is still going strong. **Q: What kind of battery required ? AAA ?** A: I think its a CR3032 or somewhere in that vicinity. **Q: Does the memory record min/max temp and humidity every day? If yes, for how many days?** A: It records the hi/low for the day prior until you clear it then records new data. **Q: Can i put two earth magnets on the inside of a sealed plastic tote to secure the device on the outside and get a good measurement on the inside?** A: You can secure it anyway you want.
