I have put so much gear in this bag that my car will start yelling at me to buckle my seatbelt. In the back big pocket I have my laptop and its case in the laptop spot, it fits comfortable with plenty more room. I have place a binder textbook, a 2inch math text, and up to two other generic textbooks as well as a couple folders and two "three" subject mead notebooks. The middle pocket comfortably fits any extra reading, my laptop chord, my phone chargers (I have multiple), my wallet and my planner. The front pocket has my little stuff-- The inner zip is super nice for feminine products. I have a pocket stopwatch, my hearing aid case, glasses, my laptop mouse, chap stick, a hole puncher, staples, a stapler, pens and pencils, erasers, sharperners etc. My side pockets carry just about any cup that fits into most car cupholders pretty easily. I stick a thick highlighter, pocket knife, and super power calculator in the one, and either my travel cups or food items to consume in the other. This bag also went all over the USA with me when I was travelling for collegiate competition and it was just so easy to travel with. I literally never go anywhere without my backpack-- I have had it for 3 months now and it still looks as good as the day I got it and I am NOT easy on it. On the days where it is packed with everything and weighs nearly 50 pounds, it still sits comfortably as I walk nearly 5 miles a day. I really love this bag. Also, the double loop at the top is great, the wide one is nice for picking it up etc, but the smaller one is helpful for hanging it on bathroom stall hooks. The inner backpack charger has saved me once or twice from disaster. I paid 25 for it, and I am so glad I did. It is really worth the extra cost over cheaper simple bags.
