Review: i love this clay for slime and making sculptures. - i got it originally for slime but then feeling it i realized i like it a lot more for crafts, its great clay but the quantity in each box is rather small, it would be great if it could be bought in bulk or at least in bigger boxes. love the texture of the foam clay and it drys really well. I noticed that the seller doesn’t think this would be the the best and it needs a kiln but I think it is just fine air dried and when I got the twinkle in my mind to use it I kind of figured things out as I went and I have made so many things so if you’re like me I like clay things but I don’t like how it feels weird, I don’t have a kiln and, I don’t like how heavy it is. Now here’s why I like it as a clay and how it dries and good techniques to use for it. It’s a super soft and smooth clay almost like flower petals clay but softer .It is moist most times but it helps you know how long it's gonna take to dry if your having a hard time with making petals or other more delicat pieces than you want the clay to be drier if the clay is getting tuff add lotion. wet=soft and unless you dump a whole thing of lotion in it will dry so don’t be worried. If your project is going bad it’s not too late you can rip it up and add some lotion mix it and it should go back to the beginning and if you think it's too late don't be afraid to try if in at least the first day if the outside hardens the inside could still be wet. This clay is light and soft and it can make tiny peices with no sweat but bigger is always scarier without an inner core whether it is foam balls, tin foil, or wire because spoiler alert I messed up my first big project. I watched my piece melt before I knew I could just reuse it and yeah to be honest if you want to use a doll figure or whatever instead of making your own frame and or you made a frame that you can’t get it to stick to, take a chunk of clay and a decent amount of lotion mixed to a sticky paste (sorry it’s gonna stick to your hand have a chunk of regular clay close by). Stick this almost glue-like substance all over it then clean your hand with the regular clay and stick it on. This is one of the biggest perks of this clay it sticks to it’s self like no clay I’ve ever seen almost like puddy you don’t have to do much. However smoothing can be tricky in the beginning it's not too hard to get the hang of. You smooth it with your finger as lightly as you can, because it's soft but I mean it says to mold it back in shape if you accidentally mishape it so don’t be discouraged Also I enjoy how it dries it doesn’t get hard it gets firm. It feels like a smooth foam ball the Piece I messed up on I ended up tearing it up to see the inside and it sounded and looked like foam ball material ( the outside never does btw) and it’s a bit bouncy and somewhat flexible and lightly pliable (you can lightly pinch and poke it) you can easily brake it by tearing with force or sharp objects after it dries other than that it’s perfect for jewelry and fun for any other projects I still need to paint it but I used a wire figure of a guy hunting with a spear and I used my trick of super wet clay all over it and than stuck the rest to it and it worked Lasty be patient and remember it basically already feels like a caly slime with just a lot of clay. If your not having fun cause your piece isn’t turning out how you want take a break and just play with it.
Review: Its sort of like what i imagine foam clay to be like - This is a great clay! I like fidgeting with it, and it’s super soft and pliable! It is very light too, and was lighter than i expected it to be! But, when you use it like actual clay, it does hold its shape, but when it dries it acts like some sort of foam, and stays somewhat squishy and you’re still able to change its shape. This isn’t a BAD thing for me, it’s just sort of unexpected. It did not mix well with the slime i had made, but i’m thinking it might have not been the clays fault for a couple reasons. Those reasons being: It was pretty old slime, like a month old, and that i use a method of slime making that other people don’t usually use. I use contact solution and baking soda, but most people use borax and water. Despite my couple problem with it not mixing in slime, it’s amazing!! I do recommend this clay, it’s so nice.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ NOT like Diaso but still really good!
*by J***R on August 4, 2019*

I really like this clay, it is NOT however like Diaso. I bought a few different clays (model magic, US Art Supply, dope slimes and Original stationary) and tested then out in slime and this one was my favorite. I think it’s funny they put that this clay is like Diaso because it’s literally NOTHING like it. It has a very rubbery feel to it which Diaso does not have. I attached a video that shows what the finish product is like for the recipe I used. This recipe was 1/2 glue all, 1/2 school glue, lotion, glycerine shaving cream. Added some fragrance too. I fluffed it up with the mixer before activating and putting in the clay. Then, I manually folded in the clay and that’s what this video is 🤓 This clay does however leave a watery feel on the slime. I personally love that feeling. Not sure why people care so much about that, but it does have it. This was my favorite clay to use out of US art supply (MELTED SLIME-even after activating), model magic (which was REALLY bad, hard & rippy) and dope slimes (also kinda melted slime). Diaso is super good too on its own, but I wouldn’t compare it to Original Stationery clay. I think every clay could possibly have its own purpose for different kinds of slime. I think the best way to get a good clay slime is to mix different ones and see what you like. Good Luck! ^_^ xo
