Do these bend from using the carwash? I have a silicone backer plate and the carwash never fails to bend the right bottom corner.

No, License Plate Frame is aluminum is hard, but silicone is soft and easy to deform.

I have tried to engage the black lid into the cap, but cap size is too small, not fit it. how to cover the screw cap.?

Make sure the part that the screw goes through Is facing out (you can stick your finger in the hole to clarify what you are looking at) . Than the cap should pop right on. If the screws are not centered you might also have issues.

I need to remove it to put on new plates, how do I get them off?

1. Use the pliers to remove the card cover. 2. If it is an anti-theft screw, prepare a flat-mouth screwdriver and rotate it with inner force.

It is worth pointing out that there’s no holes/hooks on the bottom of this frame, if that makes a difference to you. Otherwise love the slim profile, doesn’t cover up anything important. I greatly appreciate the set of new screws to replace old rusty ones. The screw caps are another great addition. Installation is pretty self explanatory. Will update later on durability and rust resistance, especially since I live in coastal FL.

Good Inexpensive, Thin Chrome Frame That Looks Good

Installed these on a neighbors car because I wanted to help her out but not spend much. They look fine and chrome looks like inexpensive chrome but it looks fine. The metal seems thin but the neighbor thought they look great so that’s all that matters. Fits in the holder just right.

Nice and simple. their are 2 frames. No clear plastic cover for the plate.

Read the directions! When I put this one on IGood price and plan didn't read them and installed it wrong. LOL The screws are fine. But I do wish I had bought the one with plastic covering the plate. Other than that I like it. No advertising, plain and simple.
