SUNCASE Gear® Solar Lighter (Green)

Solar Lighter is a clever, fuel-free backup for your camping kit. It uses parabolic mirrors to concentrate sunlight for immediate ignition. While it is incredibly compact and eco-friendly, I found the plastic build a bit flimsy. It works great for tinder or paper, but requires a clear, sunny day and a bit of practice to hit the focal point.

Had my doubts at first , but the thing actually works very well . My only real complaint , is that its very flimsy . They should have at least made it out of aluminium , or at the very least , heavier grade plastic . Unfortunately , I think this is going to break on a lot of people . For something meant to be used outdoors , it needs to be more sturdy . Almost gave 3 stars for construction , but it does work , only reason 4 stars .

Got this for my son, who's always losing his lighters and matches, as a backup, at least when the sun is out. We both tried it at different times of the day, and it takes just a little practice to position it just right, but it does work!

Credit where credit is due, It does light things on fire using solar power. However, it feels like cheap plastic, and the prongs do not have much flex to them. I fear it would break in my backpack or as I'm trying to load something in it. I think I'll search for one with a metal housing and sprung clips.

Your better of just using a magnifying glass.

It kinda works, one of the reflective stickers had a big bubble in it and I can't fix it.

J’adore leurs produits ! Réception rapide et utilisation aussitôt en balade : hyper efficace pour les cigarettes comme toujours (quelques secondes) J’avais l’ancienne version pratique pour les cigarettes uniquement Mais cette nouvelle version est bien plus poussée avec ses pincettes métalliques. Ça permet de placer une petite branche ou feuille de papier : pratique pour allumer un barbeuc vu la rapidité de chauffe du point focal Attention, il faut un peu de pratique pour bien positionner le point lumineux quand on est pas habitué mais ça vient vite !

Puede ser útil en acampadas y en caso del gran apagón 🤣. Funciona a la perfección.
