Review: Wish I bought this sooner! - A year and a half later after multiple uses I’m still very happy with this purchase. An update: I’ve used this indoors and outdoors, with heavy items on top and have been impressed with what it is able to handle. With an ice bucket, a medium cooler full of canned beverages along with other picnic foods on top, it still held up nicely. Originally I thought it was too heavy, but the heaviness actually isn’t a bad quality. Because of the weight of this table, even if there wasn’t anything on it, I don’t think it would easily topple over in windy conditions as other flimsier tables would. Something to consider for outdoor use. Original review Jan 2019: Seated 10 average sized people (not obese) easily around this table for dinner. One guest on each end and four on each side. With a tablecloth and runner, it looked fantastic! Quite sturdy for a folding table- solid construction and materials, which unfortunately also means quite heavy. The attached handle is a thoughtful design addition for easier carrying, but don’t expect to lug this more than a few yards on foot. Was not wobbly, and the legs fold out and lock in place. There was a tiny bit of a hump in the middle where the fold is, but minimally so. No one noticed. The table top is hard with a slightly textured and matte surface, not a glossy finish. When folding, a locking hinge on one side needs to be depressed, then release the loops from the joints to fold the legs. Legs snap into a c holder for stable storage. Has a very small footprint when folded, and fits into my closet with ease. I’m very impressed overall, especially at this price. It’s a value bargain.

**Q: How much weight will the table hold?**
A: Watch the video... It says 300 pounds. Though that sounds scary.

**Q: Is the Top Smooth ? or Does it have Texture?**
A: If you try to write on a piece of paper with a pencil on the surface, you will notice a roughness. The texture is minimal when running your have over it. I use if for a sewing/cutting table so perfect smoothness was not an issue. Hope this helps.

**Q: Are the black tables just painted black or is it actually black plastic. I'm worried about them scratching and then everyone will see white scratches.**
A: The plastic is black, very durable too. Its safe to say you will never notice any scratches on this table as well.

**Q: Would this work as a dining table for Thanksgiving? How many could sit comfortably?**
A: This would work as an eating table. You could fit 6 comfortable or 8 snugly (as long as your chair width can accomodate 3 on each side).

An update: I’ve used this indoors and outdoors, with heavy items on top and have been impressed with what it is able to handle. This table is perfect. It folds and unfolds easily, and is super sturdy - even on plush carpet! The handle is a nice bonus feature that makes it easy to carry when folded. I have used it for wrapping presents - great surface space to wrap large and awkward sized items, and is a perfect height. And I will be using it for additional dining space during holidays or other occasions when lots of family are in town. It tucks away nicely in a closet when folded and not in use. Do yourself a favor and buy this, even if only for those "just in case" circumstances. Side note - pay attention to the weight. This is a sturdy, hearty table. It's not lightweight or flimsy. I have no issues with the weight or size, but some of my older family (70's +) who aren't used to lifting, may struggle a bit.
