Very durable phone

It's not going to compete with an established brand obviously, but if you want to make a couple of calls, and do basic things, send messages etc, and you are prone to dropping phones? this is for you. Sweet, cheap, and does what it's supposed to. It's gotten wet, dropped a couple of times and it's perfectly fine. Can the screen be better? sure. can it be faster? yes. but you are getting what you paid for and what it does do, it does okay.

Phone is just over a year old and it is a brick.

I bought two Blackview “rugged” phones for my son with ASD, believing they could handle the extra wear and tear that comes with his needs. Both failed in less than a year — the first (purchased 3/9/24, shown in orange) was damaged within six months, and the second (purchased 9/9/24, shown in green) was damaged even worse by 7/5/25. I have no idea exactly how it happened, but I’ve attached photos of both phones as evidence. Repairs were quoted at $180 because the part alone costs $90 — not worth it. I also purchased the 3-year extended warranty for $40, but here’s the catch: if you file a claim, they only refund the purchase price of the phone, and the warranty ends immediately. It does NOT transfer to your replacement phone, meaning you’d have to buy the extended warranty again. For me, this made the coverage pointless. Given my experience, I can no longer recommend this phone as “rugged” or “durable,” especially for families who need extra-tough devices. Unfortunately, I will not be purchasing another Blackview rugged phone. If you’re looking for a phone that can truly stand up to rough use, especially for kids or special needs situations, look elsewhere.

It works fine for about a day, then it slows down and crashes every time. I resists the falls perfectly though.

It doesn’t have enough space and the volume is really low
