Update- 7/2021 several reviews mentioned this but I didn’t want it to be true … but after a while the screen started flickering and going black. If you adjust the screen sometimes it will stop but there’s no magic touch. Also the pen eats batteries and they are super expensive. I still love the computer overall and have just hooked it up to an external monitor.Original reviewI absolutely love this computer. I have a Yoga 11.5” that is about 5 years old but I teach online and the screen was too small for multiple windows and the processor was slow, so I decided to upgrade. I considered a Surface bc I loved the pen feature. When I saw the Lenovo with active pen, I decided to purchase. I love this computer. It is super fast and can handle all the apps I run at one time while video teaching and there is no lag. The camera is really good for an installed camera- I have to use it on lower resolution for compatibility so it’s fine for me. I opted for a smaller screen to save weight but the screen can handle two windows without it being too small to read. The color on the screen and brightness is good. I travel and work so the computer is heavier than a surface or Mac but for the money it’s not too heavy. I haven’t had any issues with it crashing so that may be an isolated problem. All in all I love this computer and have recommended it to other colleagues that teach online.

I was doubtful at first if I would like a 13 inch laptop without a DVD or a 10 key. This laptop is so fantastic I don't even know those things are missing. The lit up board, the touch monitor, the way you can flip the monitor around at ease, the touch of the keyboard. If I want to watch a DVD, I just attach a DVD player to my USB port. This is a great machine at a great price.

It was everything I expected from the 8th gen i5 laptop, faster than the 7th gen i7 laptops.

Let me start by saying that I have been very nice to this laptop. It has never left my apartment, I have never dropped it, and wasn't even heavily used in the past 6 months that I've owned it. The flex design is a good idea however it is clearly not made very well because the frame has started to warp on its own. the top right corner is getting worse and as you can see the lock slot is now completely useless.. I have used the 360 degree feature no more than 3 times!! I even tried taking the screw out and screwing it back into place but the screw just wont hold. Now just trying to transport the laptop anywhere is worrying because the frame is so weak. Needless to say I am quite disappointed with this purchase, even though it still runs alright, it can't offer the convenience of a transportable laptop which is ridiculous.

I like that it can be used as a computer or tablet. It was not a bad but I upgraded the memory to 1tb so it could be used for a while.

Laptop if hyd in terms of light weight. But it soon developed a problem with the hinge, which keeps flickering the screen. I am really frustrated as to why I have purchased the laptop.
