Very easy to connect the DAC to the pi (push fit) and the PiCorePlayer has a menu option to output to the JustBoom Dac. I set this up just for fun. I have not done any controlled listening tests and my ears are closer to 'cloth' than 'golden' but subjectively, the sound is fine. Been using it for a week with a variety of jazz and classical music and I doubt that I could tell the difference between this and my much more expensive commercially produced players.
