Instructions were minimal. Very important to properly prime pump. Check out YouTube videos. Best to use frozen bottles instead of ice making it easier and less messy. Don’t use bottles with any labels or glue remaining as these will clog up screen and burn out motor. Ensure bottles are best. Much more durable and won’t crack. Do not over fill. A Velcro strap around ankle and hoses keeps them from kinking. Very quiet. A much better alternative to renting a GameReady for $200 for only two weeks. Holds temperature for hours. Keeping for my next injury or loaning to friends.

I had total knee replacement and a friend told me to use an ice machine. It has made my recovery so much easier. Instead of having to change ice packs every hour or so, the cold water that circulates through lasts about 8 hours. I can ice my knee all night and not get up to change the ice pack. it is easy to use and I had no problem connecting the hose together. I love the feature where I can tell what temperature the circulating water is. My swelling has been minimal thanks to this machine.

What makes this machine great.... The cooler keeps the water and ice cold for several hours. The pad that wraps around your knee is very large and has very long velcro straps. It fits everyone! It probably works on other body parts too. The cooler displays the water temperature. It also will auto shut off at 20 40 or 60 minutes. Don't waste your time with the other ones, this one is it....

I saw a review about the leak after I bought. I wish I had seen before i bought. You need to connect pad to tubes. It clicks but it starts leaking. I have put silicone adhesive sealant where it leaks hopefully this will work. I don't agree having to do this but I need this for my rotator cuff and bicep surgery. Shame on this company for not testing. Also I suggest using silicone tape as well on top of silicone sealant in case you miss a leak. I can't figure out where it is leaking. The silicone tape keeps from getting bed wet and as you can see I have a bucket to catch water leak. Received replacement pump doesn't work. For roughly 10 seconds you hear it try to work after that it makes a humming sound and does not circulate water through tubes. The company is useless. So if you need a cold water treatment machine try a different brand but not this one. I ordered an ice pack from amazon and for the few minutes until it goes back in freezer it works really good. It is the Revix Shoulder Ice Pack for injuries. I like it. No leaking lol and no pump. How can you go wrong?

First time I have bought an ice therapy machine. I used a friend's machine in the past. This one was much easier to use. It does take a lot of ice. I found that frozen water bottles work well. Just make sure they are standing up while the machine is use or they may block the water intake. The one issue I have with it is that putting the universal pad on the lower back. You need someone else to put it on for you. It is very quiet, something I appreciate. Edit: It also keeps the water cold for a long time! As an experiment, I left the water in overnight. Now, about 18 hours later, the water is still cold (about 45 degrees).
