In the case of this product, none of the concerns raised in the poor reviews have materialized. I find this product produces great poached eggs with no sticking. I spread a tiny bit of oil in the cups and the eggs fall out easily after cooking. The materials seem very good quality. 4.5 minutes cooks whites well while leaving yolks wonderfully soft. And extra large eggs fit perfectly in the cups.
