It is very comfortable, has plenty of space for a laptop WITH a portable monitor (a thin one) in the laptop sleeve, plus probably 3-4 textbooks in the rest of the space and some other stuff crammed in there. The front pocket also has plenty of space. One thing I don't like about the pockets is that if they are partially unzipped, they will flop right over (especially if there's stuff in the front pocket), but that hasn't been that big of a deal to work with.
