r these dishwasher safe if you want to clean them?

Hey!.. this is from Melissa and Doug website "BPA-free and dishwasher safe, the colorful pieces (in red, green, blue, and yellow) are perfect for real snack time, too!" , so there you go!!

How big are the plates and cups? Could anyone tell the diameters?

The plates seem to be about the same size as a saucer and they measure 6 inches through the middle. The cups are 3.25 inches tall and are close to a small juice cup. They are a good size for playing.

Is it wood or plastic?

It is a perfect set my son loves it he just got it from Santa .. Cups , plates , utensils are all plastic an drain is metal
