PopSockets Adapter Ring for MagSafe- White

Amazing so far, to be honest. I put it on the outer shell of my otterbox commuter case, and even messed it up. Was able to pull it off (initially worried I irreparably bent it, but it laid perfect after some gentle prodding and massive dedication) to re-stick it on. The guide was handy, but don't forget to tape it if you're trying to apply it anywhere other than laying flat on a dedicated surface. I haven't yet tested the limitations on boosting wireless charging etc, but I was able to stick my random buy grip/stand. It is super strong on both ends, which has probably made the difference. Def recommend, and I'll probably buy more when I need them for other cases....

I've attached this to multiple things already. My phone, my tablet, my kindle - it works great. I have 1 pop socket magsafe so that I can have these adapter rings on multiple products and simply move my pop socket around as needed. Make sure you get the stick on correct the first time! Peeling it off will cause it to bend and makes it very difficult to reapply. However its so cheap, even if you make a mistake, it's not the end of the world!

The Popsockets Adapter Ring for MagSafe is perfect if you want to add MagSafe compatibility to your phone without having to purchase an entire brand new case with a built in ring. The ring sticks right to the back of any case with a flat surface on the back large enough for the ring. It adheres very very well just like a typical Popsocket grip does, although I will say if you plan to remove the attachment very often for wireless charging the adhesive will start to weaken. I ended up super glueing mine to my cases… but if you don’t plan to remove to back it will hold up for a long long time. The ring itself isn’t a magnet, but rather some type of magnetic metal. The ring doesn’t interfere with wireless charging, and comes with a handy guide you can use to perfectly place your ring on your current case. Overall a good quality product,if you want to join the MagSafe movement this ring is a great start.

**Edit- Been using for many months now. I regularly sanitize my phones, and some of the solution caused the magnet to begin lifting. To my pleasant surprise, the painted design on my Castify cover, was Not damaged at all. Reapplied a new magnet, and it is still holding super strong; just being more careful when cleaning around magnetic base now. Apparently adhesive is not hard-core permanent and can be removed. In my case, alcohol is what softened adhesive.** Strong. Adhesive is secure. Works great with Magsafe vehicle phone mount. *Hint for application: Try using tweezers to place magnet. It can be a tad tricky to use included guide, and accurately apply sticky magnet at the same time.* LOVE that I have more variety of phone cases to choose from, using this adapter. It DOES have to be placed Outside of your case; I DO NOT know if product is removable without damage...adhesive appears permanent.* Expensive for just One magnet, but, giving credit to Popsockets branding, I haven't found a product as consistent in quality and reliability. The product itself works fine for my purposes. The magnet holds on well, and I imagine those with MagSafe chargers & accessories will find this useful. I did receive an adapter ring in black, not an option I chose but welcome and fits the color of my case better. An included kraft paper guide helps get a good install. I got this not knowing that the *MagSafe PopSockets come with one adapter ring included*, so I figured I'd hold on to one in case I lost the other or got a new case. Unfortunately that included ring had a small bend, likely due to shipping/handling, rendering it impossible to get good, secure adhesion to the case. My advice is to grab one of these as an extra in case you have the same experience and get in touch with Amazon support later as needed. The magnetic ring is very thin metal, and I wasn't able to bend the other back into shape. I think that could pose a problem if the shipping is unusually traumatic or for users with more flexible cases when they need to remove the case.

Works perfectly! Install on outside of case. Can use wireless chargers again! And swapping out tops is now so easy. Plus they can come to your new phone in a click both iPhone and Android

I bought this because I love pop wallets, but they’re not great at the gym and the phone won’t lay flat on cardio equipment. I really liked the idea of popping the wallet on and off the phone case for that reason. Also, I could get a magnetic car Mount instead of gluing pop socket mounts to my dashboard. Problem, the case I LOVED is not MagSafe. It worked great popping the wallet off now and then for the gym and navigation for about 2 days. I ended up having to epoxy the ring to the phone case though because it just won’t stay on now. Hopefully this solves the problem. I guess the phone case is not returnable now should this not work.

Bought to go on the back of my kindle, I already have the actual pop socket for my iPhone. Rather than buy a new pop socket I just wanted the ring magnetic sticker so I can transfer the pop socket between the two. Works brilliantly, super adhesive and the magnets hold well! Worth the money!! This is the STICKER only! You have to buy the pop socket separately.
