I am just guessing normal shower heads are about 20mm at the narrowest up to say 28mm at the larger end of the taper. I fitted it elsewhere so cant check directly. **Q: Would it suit oval shaped vertical bar?** A: No I don't think it would. The front of the shower head holder is where it tightens up. So unless the the bar is very small I imagine it would slip down. **Q: Has anyone seen one of these suitable for thinner shower poles? (ours appears to be only 15mm diameter..)** A: No this wouldn't fit **Q: Does this fit a Mira Logic shower hose? The mira logic is quite thick and my current holder is too thin to let the hose go through** A: No. It doesn’t fit. I have a Mira shower also. Fitting is easy if you watch the video instructions and don't just steam in! I tried to fit it without using the instructions because it looked simple but the shower head wouldn't fit. I tried to scan the link on the packet but it wouldn't work so I went back to the Amazon website and got the instruction video there. The key thing I'd missed is that the aperture that holds the shower head is larger on one side, so reversing it made the shower head fit snugly. Very pleased with the product.
