I know I need to accept this age thing - still in my 20s inside, body of a man in his 70s though !!! - and as there is no magic wand available to help, it is all down to me. I therefore have to knuckle down and lose weight and get fitter. I thought I would try this as it might, just might help a little. After using it for a few days, I think I can already feel some benefit - early days yet - but already the indicator is showing some improvement. I shall keep on using it. The Spirometer is plastic, but well made and tough enough to do the job it is designed for. It is not expensive at all and could be of a lot of help for a lot of people, me included. I have never really smoked - tried a bit when younger for a while, never really could see the point - and so I feel my breathing problems are about age and lack of exercise and weight. Down to me then. As I say, after just a few days I have noticed some slight improvement.
