I literally was gonna call a plumber when I saw the old valve soldered in there. I even figured I’d mess up the fittings and would need to call them in - nope everything went in really easily. Btw my last big home project was changing a burnt bulb, in other words I’m no Bob Villa lol - just to give perspective to “easy”

Upgraded my shower / bath faucet which required to upgrade the valve and I have no idea how to solder copper pipes and would likely injure myself or burn the place down.
