There are a couple of things to note. First, if you buy these, you will need to bypass the ballast for the recessed lighting cans in the ceiling. Its not nearly as complicated as it sounds and there is a nice video on how to do it up on youtube https://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=ofPvcpMddTk.The second thing is that this adds 2 inches to your fixture, so if you dont have low profile floods they will stivk out of the can. I have standard ceramic bases mounted to the sealing and the bulbs I bought took a larger screw base. These worked perfectly with my new bulbs.They are made of plastic and seem to have a cheap feel to them, (very thin plastic).
