I especially love not having to disinfect it after every use like an oral thermometer, and I don’t have to deal with buying refills or wasting plastic like with ear thermometers. I take my temperature daily, so it’s super convenient to just grab and go. It has memory, so if you forgot to write down the last reading or if it powers off before you record it, you can easily look back. Bonus: my 8-year-old can use it all by himself without any issues, which says a lot about how simple it is.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fast, easy to use and accurate

Having previously tried several ear and forehead thermometers, I had concluded that they were just annoying to use and/or hopelessly inaccurate. Based on some general research, as well as other reviews I decided to give this one a try. I am pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to use - hold it against the center of the forehead, press the button until it beeps and slide gently to the left (or right, I guess) over to the temple. It'll beep a few more times, but is ready to read. I checked it against normal temps and also compared it with some known accurate traditional methods in fever situations; I conclude that it's one of the most accurate thermometers I've owned. The only caveat I would mention is that if the place it's stored is on the chilly side, the readings seem to be more accurate if I take a minute or two to warm it up under a shirt to point where it no longer feels cold to the touch. Not sure why that is, but for me it produced the best results. Overall, highly recommended.
