Men's Freestone Z Stockingfoot

OK - I bought two of these, a Large and a Medium King. I am 6 feet tall and weigh 200 pounds. Average build. The Medium King was the right call. The fit is spot on - not too baggy if I'm only wearing a t-shirt and not too tight if I have a jacket and other layers under it. If you are a bit bigger than me - the Large might be the better call. I do not wear jeans under my waders, I prefer thin lightweight sweatpants - much more comfortable and doesn't wear the inside of the waders as much as jeans do. I've used these waders 4 times so far and I have had zero issues with leakage. The front zipper is great - especially if you need to, well, you need to relief yourself ;-). Front zipper also makes putting these on easier than other waders. No problems with the stocking foot - just remember to size up your boot one full shoe size. Suspenders work great, no problems with them sliding off my shoulders. There are two handwarmer pockets behind the two front pockets - super nice to have for long floats. I have mixed feelings about the two pockets. On one hand - I like having two smaller pockets rather than one big pocket (better for organizing stuff). On the other hand, because they are side zip, stuff is prone to falling out when you unzip and pull something out. It bugs me a bit, but not enough that I'd go back to non-front zip waders.

Simms make great waders. I still have my 12 year old G3 Simms waders that are still good- no leaks. I bought this new style because of the front zipper for colder weather fishing. Simms online fitting size program is very helpful to get the right size before ordering. Amazon Prime had a discount sell price at $479 with 2 day delivery for these waders. 2 thumbs up to Simms for great value and design on this Freestone Z Stockingfoot.

Excellent quality. Expensive, but you get what you pay for.

i have had these waders less than a year they leak at both knees. the fabric is super thin. cheap compass 360s i usually get are better quality for less than half the price. i am so sick of corporations killing quality. they will keep ripping people off as long as we keep buying there garbage

Not rating the waders. But Simms sent me a lower value wader than ordered and in the wrong size. Nicely packaged but useless to me.
